Sex education basically can be defined as the education about the human sexual anatomy, sexual intercourse, emotional relations, abstinence, sexual reproduction, reproductive health, reproductive rights and responsibilities, contraception, and other aspects of human sexual behavior. In these troubled times, teens are at the most vulnerable edge. Sex education should be imparted to them no sooner did they reach the age of adolescence.  In India Hindi is still the medium of education in many schools therefore spreading sex  education in Hindi could also help the cause immensely.

Information conveyed: There are various aspects of life of which the teenagers must have deep understanding and knowledge. The various topics at which knowledge must be provided to teens are:

* Sexual development and reproduction: The teens should be made aware of the reasons behind all the changes taking place in their body at puberty. The girls should be knowing all the complications arising during the reproduction cycle. Information should be given to them regarding safe sex, sexually transmitted diseases etc.

* Contraception and birth control: They should be aware of all the birth control measures. Contraceptives which are pills to avoid pregnancy are a good option, teenagers should know right usage. This helps a lot in birth control and unwanted pregnancies.

* Relationships: Teenagers must be aware of their relationships, love and commitment, marriage and partnership. Relationships have always been a complex phenomenon for humanbeings, but they should be made to understand what their partner expects.

* Rules and laws: They should be specially made aware of the laws relating to sexual behavior and the consequences of it.

Key players in spreading sex education:

* Parents: They are the earliest teachers of children. In earlier times discussing topic related to sex were considered taboo, but now sex education is the need of the hour. The parents should understand that this is for the betterment of their children and therefore they should break the barriers of hesitation and talk openly to their kids resolving all their queries.

* Teachers: It’s the responsibility of the teachers to make sure that their students be well prepared to face every challenge in their life. The teacher should try his best to solve all the doubts arising in their mind.

We should now understand that sex education is not a foul practice that is trying to corrupt the young minds but it is for the well being of society by making individuals more responsible. Best effort should be given to spread awareness, sex education in Hindi must be provided in school where English is not the medium of teaching care. The doctor should examine his patient thoroughly to determine whether these tablets will be beneficial or not so that proper health care methods could be  administered.
